Palomas, Chihuahua, Mexico was the border crossing back into the U.S.  We entered the U.S. at Columbus, New Mexico, place of a massacre by one of Pancho Villa's raids.

We traveled east to El Paso arriving late in the afternoon.  Our hotel was only a few blocks from the Rio Grande River and entry point to Juarez, Mexico.  The street to the border was lined with stores - our last chance to shop before returning home.

We returned to Tucson on the big tour bus with only 4 passengers and our tour director.  The rest of the group returned home from El Paso.                          The End
