Leaving Chengdu, we fly to Lhasa, Tibet.

Lhasa has a population of about 250,000.  It is called the "City of the Sun" and is at 12,000 elevation with surrounding mountains.  The airport is about 60 miles (100 km.) from the city center.

It was very windy the entire time in the city.
