Main Page

St. Laurences's Parish Church is one of England's 20 great churches.  Its origins are from the 12th century, rebuilt in 1199 and then in the 15th century a nave, chancel and tower were added.  The woodworking is from the 15th century including 32 misericords.  There are more than 30 stained glass windows, many from medieval times.  The hexogonal south porch is only one of three in England.
