She was married 40 years. She was the mother of 14 children with
12 living at time of census (June 1900). She lived with her
husband, 6 children, and a grandchild, Marmie Walter (5), at 40 Lehigh
Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
In the 1910 census, Lena was 70 years old, born in Germany. She
was married 50 years. She was living with her husband, 4 sons and
a granddaughter at 40 Lehigh Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
(Information was not correct - she was born in New
York; she was married 53 years. Correct information was in previous
census reports.)
She died on 1 May 1913 in
Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Funeral preparations by Klein
