Catherine Goetz was born about 1854 in Pennsylvania. She died after 1912. In the 1860 U.S. Federal Census, "Cassy" was 6 years old, and born in Pennsylvania. She lived with her parents and 2 siblings in Wilkes-Barre Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. In the 1870 census, Catherine was 16 years old, born in Bavaria (??). She resided with her parents, and 4 siblings in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She was not working. Catherine Goetz married Henry Fastadend (sp). (From mother's obituary.) They moved to Missouri.
