Mary Elizabeth Walter was born on 14 Feb 1906 in Wilkes-Barre,
Luzerne, Pennsylvania.
In the 1910 census, Mary was 4 years old and born in Pennsylvania.
She lived with her parents and 5 siblings at 265 South State Street,
Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
In the 1920 census, Mary was 13 years old, born in Pennsylvania.
The family was renting a house at 190 Park Ave, Wilkes-Barre,
Pennsylvania. Living at home were her parents, 9 siblings and
grandmother, Elizabeth (Stenger) Schappert, 75 years old. Mary was
attending school.
In the 1930 census, Mary was 24 years old. She was living with her
father and 7 siblings at 97 Elizabeth Street, Wilkes-Barre,
Pennsylvania. She was working as a book binder in the printing
industry.
She died on 18 Jun 1988 in Willow Grove, Montgomery, Pennsylvania.

Mary Walter Everhart, Willow Grove, died Saturday (18 Jun
1988) in Willow Grove.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late Jacob and Matilda Schappert Walter,
she formerly resided in the Wyoming Valley and resided more than 40 years in
Willow Grove. Her husband, Francis, died last December. She also was
preceded in death by brothers, Edward Walter, Monsignor Louis Walter, and Joseph
Walter and a sister, Alberta Walter.
Surviving are sons, Francis, Edward, Norman and Joseph; daughters, Mary Frances
Moore, with whom she resided, and Joan; grandchildren; sisters Mrs. Regina
Fischer and Mrs. Kathleen Brady, both of Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Ruth Dwyer,
Scranton; brother, Fred Walter, Wilkes-Barre; nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be Friday (24 Jun 1988) at 11 from St. David's Church, Willow
Grove.
