Taylor highway from Eagle to Tok, Alaska.   It starts on the Alaskan Highway 12 miles southeast of Tok and terminates in Eagle (where we started).  It is Milepost 160.

One interesting stop on the Taylor highway was the town of Chicken.  The area close by is called 40 mile river – richest gold area.  Tailings are under Taylor Highway used for the roadbed.

At Milepost 95.7, the Taylor Highway meets Top of the World Highway – a winding, mostly gravel road that connects motorists with Dawson City, 79 miles to the east.

The Taylor Highway finally ends at Tetlin Junction 12 miles southeast of Tok on the Alaskan Highway.
